Celeste to Perform Live in Germany in June with Her New Album “Woman of Faces”

Anyone lucky enough to see British singer-songwriter Celeste live in 2019 during one of her first performances in Germany at the Reeperbahn Festival at the Imperial Theater knew even then: this is the emergence of a truly great artist. Celeste’s setlist already included songs like “Lately” and “Both Sides of the Moon,” which struck the perfect balance between soul, jazz, and pop—but above all, she had that powerful, smoky voice that sounded remarkably mature despite her very young age at the time. At the end of her Reeperbahn Festival set, she received a standing ovation the likes of which are rarely seen. 

But Celeste didn’t let herself be rushed and built her career at her own pace: Her debut album, “Not Your Muse,” was released in 2021 and impressed with great songs like “Stop This Flame,” “Strange,” and “Ideal Woman.” In Germany, it reached No. 6 on the album charts—and No. 1 in her home country. It was the first time in five years that a female singer had achieved this ranking in the UK.

Now her second album is out: It’s called “Woman of Faces,” and Celeste promises nothing less than “the best songs I’ve ever written.” Many of her fans will certainly agree.

So it will be exciting to see how Celeste brings this music to life on stage during her album tour. In June, she’ll be stopping in Germany for two shows in Berlin and Cologne.
