Ceren Oran & Moving Borders: Spiel im Spiel

In the organizer's words:

When we play, anything is possible: the floor is made of lava, objects fly through the air and everyday objects take on a whole new meaning. The stool is a raft, a bridge, a house, a tower. It does a headstand, lies on its side, stands on its feet. Who decides what happens next? Who makes the rules and how do you make the best decision? And what happens if someone doesn't want to take part? Three dancers enter the "game within the game": whoever was just a hat becomes an island in a stormy sea. Where the floor was just untouchable, a large worm now crawls across the stage. Someone who was just small becomes huge and flexes their muscles. Those who were just arguing are now dancing in unison. The world is what the three of them make of it on stage.

Ceren Oran, born in Istanbul in 1984, studied dance in Istanbul and Salzburg. She has lived and worked as a freelance dancer, choreographer and sound painter in Munich since 2015 and has also been creating dance-theatre performances for children since 2010. Her pieces have been performed at festivals around the world.
