After their acclaimed debut album "Morning Ritual" (2023), Chartreuse return with their second album "Bless You & Be Well" and bring their second work live to Germany!
The new album was created in a remote studio in the north of Iceland, where Chartreuse spent two intense weeks of solitude, connection and cathartic creativity in the summer of 2024. Produced by Sam Petts-Davies (The Smile), "Bless You & Be Well" shows a band that is stronger than ever in expressing its cohesion and rootedness in friendship, family and music: "We wanted to make an album that sounds honest - raw, intense and the way we really are as a band," says guitarist and singer Mike Wagstaff. This energy is also reflected in the first single "Sequence of Voices", which Chartreuse present live with a force that immediately captures the audience.
The four musicians - Mike and Rory Wagstaff, Hattie Wilson and Perry Lovering - address personal experiences such as loss, illness and new beginnings in their new songs without dwelling on heaviness. Instead, they create a sound that comforts, stirs and, above all, conveys one thing: the feeling of being part of a special community.
With their unique sound between experimental indie, organic warmth and intense emotionality, Chartreuse have already caused a sensation in the UK and also enchanted the Haldern Pop Festival and Heimspiel Knyphausen in summer 2025 - in February 2026, it's time to repeat the whole thing at three exclusive German shows!
