Chorkonzert Sommerserenade

The chamber choir Amici Canendi from Mainz invites you to a summer serenade - a musical journey through forests and fields in the evening atmosphere. In this program, we dedicate ourselves to nature and the magic of the summer evening in all its facets: the birds chirp, the trees rustle, elves dance in the light, and songs of longing and happiness can be heard from afar. Works by Brahms, Dvořák, Elgar, Rheinberger, Hensel and others will be performed - well-known and lesser-known treasures of choral music for mixed choir.
Amici Canendi is a mixed chamber choir from Mainz that is driven by a passion for classical music. Founded in 2016, the Amici Canendi strive for a high level of sound and musicianship. The chamber choir rehearses under the musical direction of Elisabeth Stoll.
The summer serenade will be performed on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 7:30 pm in St. Ignaz in Mainz. Free admission, donations are welcome.
