Chris Zitta knows the loud stages. As the musical mastermind of Alkbottle, he has added distinctive chapters to rock. But for some years now he has been writing another work. One with quieter nuances. With space between the lines. With songs that don't rush - but linger.

His songs open windows in our heads. They let memories in and thoughts out. They draw pictures that you want to look at for a long time - like landscapes in the evening light. Stories from yesterday that continue to resonate today. Dreams that you don't want to wake up from because they contain too much truth.

His rock roots are palpable - in the pulse, in the attitude, in the clarity. But Zitta uses a fine blade. He narrates instead of drowning out. He condenses instead of blustering. I guess you call that Austropop. Perhaps old-fashioned. Perhaps timeless. And perhaps that's why it's so in tune with our times.

His debut album "Gestern war Gestern" was released in 2018. This work grew over the course of a year - supported by dedication and accompanied by renowned artists. Just as the journey began to pick up speed, it was abruptly interrupted. Silence instead of a stage. Distance instead of closeness. But some songs cannot be stopped.

Today, Chris Zitta is back on stage with renewed vigor - together with a band that is far more than just a backing band.

All the musicians come from a professional background. But on this stage, calculation takes a back seat. Virtuosity is not for show, but for service to the cause. It is not about technical brilliance - even if it is always noticeable - but about dedication. It's about supporting Zitta's compositions in all their emotional facets, carrying them and making them shine.
