Comedy, poetry & music cabaret

Chrstian Hirdes is coming: with piano and guitar, with cabaret songs and witty poems. The Bochum native with a Mülheim migration background and over 30 years of stage experience talks about one-night stands among mayflies and the missing boa on Noah's Ark. He finds a gender star in every alphabet soup and the comedy is often in everyday life - no wonder, for example, when a mother asks her child at the supermarket checkout to put the sweets back: "Put them where they were!"

Speaking of hits: Christian Hirdes has also written one, even, as he says, a "global hit - but only in one city": Yes, he is the author of "No Woman in Kray", which he has performed many times in Essen at the GOP-Varieté, in Stratmann's Theater and once even in the Georg-Melches-Stadium in front of over 10,000 spectators - and which, of course, should not be missed at Theater Courage.

In his program "Kommt!", the mischievous and language-loving music cabaret artist, who has often been compared to Heinz Erhardt as a poet and Ulrich Roski as a musical storyteller, always mixes tried and tested highlights with new ideas and also performs one or two poems from his book "Komischer Poet - Sprachspielschäden aus fünf Dekäden" .
