Christian Löffler & Sven Helbig - concert tour 2026

Electronic musician Christian Löffler and composer Sven Helbig are going on tour together for the first time in 2026. Both share a special signature in their approach to sound: Löffler creates emotionally dense electronic compositions with minimalist means - between club culture, art music and observation of nature. Sven Helbig, on the other hand, is a composer and sound researcher who moves between classical music, choral art and subtle electronics, developing a joint program for this concert tour that transitions seamlessly from Helbig's music to Löffler's. At the center is a joint piano quartet that serves as a connecting element for both artists The audience will experience a through-composed evening in which orchestral depth, intimate chamber music and electronic textures merge.Helbig's work Requiem A, which was premiered in 2025 with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, caused an international sensation. Here, his work with choir, electronics and classical ensemble meets Löffler's fragile, often pictorial soundscapes - a combination that opens up surprising perspectives.two artistic positions, two handwritings become a musical border crossing between structure and atmosphere, between past and present.
