Christmas is the festival of stories. And for many people in the West, Jan Malte Andresen's stories have long been a part of it. As a presenter on WDR 2, he reads Christmas stories and poems time and again: sometimes cheerful, sometimes deeply touching, sometimes making you laugh out loud - always contemplative and festive.

Now this magic is coming to the stage for the first time.

With "Christmas On Air - The Christmas Show", Jan Malte Andresen is going on a small, fine tour through the West - bringing with him what makes his readings so special: a wide range of stories, a fine sense of tone and mood - and, of course, plenty of Christmas spirit.

Festive reading meets big sing-along concert

But that's not all: the show is more than just a reading - it's a real sing-along concert.

The evening will be accompanied musically by the GOODBEATS, one of the most successful live bands in the West. The four musicians provide the perfect musical accompaniment - from classics such as Silent Night or Jingle Bells to modern Christmas hits such as Last Christmas or All I Want for Christmas Is You.

And the audience? They become the choir!

Because at Christmas On Air , singing along is expressly permitted - and encouraged. The result is an evening that invites you to feel, laugh and join in - festive, atmospheric, sometimes wild, sometimes quiet.

There are also conversations, small show elements, a bit of a game, perhaps a surprise guest or two - and always the feeling of being there live - as if it were all a big festive live radio broadcast.
