"Let the boomers do it"
A highly entertaining generational portrait with Christoph Brüske
He's 60 years old now, Brüske: our welcome guest from the Rhineland with a strong affinity for the Ruhr region. But he doesn't seem to be getting any older. Because the likeable artist is a boomer: young at heart, active and in tune with the times. How did this come about? He tells us in his successful program "Let the boomers do it".
Boomers can do more than you might think: they are the inventors of wellness and walking. Brüske himself feels like a digital pioneer who ran around with his first cell phone like a demolition expert while his Commodore C 64 booted up with relish. And that's not all: he belonged to the brave generation who still went to school alone. And on foot! Unimaginable nowadays. Christoph Brüske has created a cabaret memorial to the baby boomers: with crazy wit, rousing songs and a good dose of tongue-in-cheek. So if you ever despair of everyday life: let a boomer do it.
Personal details: studied classical singing in Cologne, steeled by countless event appearances, a member of the Springmaus Improv Theater ensemble for three years and a soloist since 1998. Seeing Christoph Brüske on stage is a unique experience.
