Campaign 2026

🔥 The Berlin CSD e. V. is launching its campaign for the CSD year 2026, focusing on this year's campaign claim and the CSD motto "HALTUNG IST HOT". This is supplemented by various subclaims such as "Your voice suits you", "Green flags go vote" or "Mouse, apolitical was yesterday".

Attitude is sexy. Attitude is cute. Attitude is hot. Together we show attitude at the Berlin CSD 2026. In a varied campaign, the Berlin CSD e. V. draws attention to the 2026 election to the Berlin House of Representatives and encourages civil society, business, urban society and the community to show attitude. It deliberately plays with "dating language" and aims to motivate young people to go to the polls. For the first time, 16 and 17-year-olds are also allowed to vote in this year's elections to the House of Representatives. The campaign will be played out throughout Pride Month and beyond until the parliamentary elections.

📢 With the start of the campaign, the Berlin CSD is sending a clear signal for the election of the Berlin House of Representatives: for an open society, for democratic values and for equal rights for queer people.

"We are also facing an important election in Berlin. We are therefore calling on all Berliners to vote for parties that respect human dignity as inviolable and want to preserve and further develop the rainbow capital. Our goal is for all people who come to CSD to exercise their right to vote," says board member Julia Miosga of Berliner CSD e. V.

🎉 Berlin CSD to take place over two days for the first time

A key innovation in 2026 is the expansion of the CSD program: In addition to the demonstration and closing rally on July 25, 2026, the Berlin CSD will hold a gathering at the Brandenburg Gate with three stages for the first time on Friday, July 24, 2026. A varied evening of democracy is planned from around 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. with music, artistic performances and political contributions. The exact program will be announced shortly before the CSD.

🌟 The Berlin CSD is thus celebrating a whole weekend dedicated to democracy and diversity - and heralds the biggest CSD weekend in its history. This year's CSD expresses democracy in all areas and celebrates the diversity of our society on both days.

"Some forces want us to become quieter or smaller. The opposite is the case: with the additional Friday, we are making history and will do everything we can to defend democracy and human rights stronger than ever," adds board member Thomas Hoffmann.

📍 The CSD demonstration will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, followed by a rally at the Brandenburg Gate. The demonstration will once again lead from Leipziger Str. via Potsdamer Platz, Nollendorfplatz and Klingelhöferstraße to the Brandenburg Gate.

With its extended activities and the campaign, the Berlin CSD is underlining its claim to strengthenBerlin as the rainbow capitaland at the same time send a signal beyond the city. In a time of social polarization, cohesion and visible, self-confident and solidary answers are needed.
