City of Play: Kinder-Motorik-Spiel Workshop “Fluss und Steine - Spiele für Kids”

In addition to the sports market, dance and movement teacher Alexandra Zimmer offers varied child and youth supervision from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Children can playfully test their dexterity on small equipment, train motor skills and strengthen their perception - and have lots of fun!

By arrangement, parents have the opportunity to know that their children are well looked after and to try out an activity at the sports market themselves.

Players wanted! The City of Play turns the city into a playing field. As part of the FISU World University Games, the urban art and culture program stages the public space as a place of play and invites people to join in. The City of Play creates a link between art, culture, sport and science, between urban space and sports facilities, between the Ruhr region and the world.

In Mülheim an der Ruhr, the historic railroad viaduct with its empty railroad arches and the town hall market will become an interactive art and experience space. Local and international artists are redesigning urban spaces - with large-scale murals, performative walks and participatory installations and actions. Visitors can become active themselves, help shape, play and experience the city from new perspectives.
