City of Play: Origami-Tanz-Workshops “Entfaltete Bewegung”

Do you love dancing and want to get creative with your body? Maybe even expand your movement repertoire? Then I look forward to an hour of free dance with you.

We will approach the topic of ORIGAMI in a playful way. Individually, in pairs or together, we will embark on the movement path of folding. Folding movements will be transported through our bodies and the paper crane will be explored with rhythmic elements.

"How is that supposed to work?" you ask yourself. In fact, there are no limits to your creative expression. All dance levels and ages are welcome. So come along and let's develop new ORIGAMI movements together!

City of Play in Mülheim an der Ruhr

Players wanted! The City of Play turns the city into a playing field. As part of the FISU World University Games, the urban art and culture program stages the public space as a place of play and invites you to play along. The City of Play creates a link between art, culture, sport and science, between urban space and sports facilities, between the Ruhr region and the world.

In Mülheim an der Ruhr, the historic railroad viaduct with its empty railroad arches and the town hall market will become an interactive art and experience space. Local and international artists are redesigning urban spaces - with large-scale murals, performative walks and participatory installations and actions. Visitors can become active themselves, help shape, play and experience the city from new perspectives.
