In the organizer's words:

CLANGPALAIS Invites You to a Baroque Concert with the Dresden Kapellsolisten at the Palais Großer Garten

The Förderverein Palais Großer Garten Dresden e.V. cordially invites music lovers and friends of Baroque cultural heritage to the next CLANGPALAIS event. The concert will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the historic ballroom of the Palais Großer Garten and promises an extraordinary evening under the theme “Between Storm and Silence.”
The program will focus on compositions by Vivaldi, including one of the most famous works in music history: “Summer” from “TheFour Seasons.”
The program will also feature works by Bach, Neruda, and Telemann. All of these composers have a special connection to the Palais Großer Garten.
The evening’s performers are the Dresdner Kapellsolisten (primarily members of the Saxon State Orchestra) under the direction of Prof. Helmut Branny, an outstanding chamber orchestra that enjoys an excellent reputation far beyond Saxony.
Through the CLANGPALAIS concert series, the Förderverein Palais Großer Garten e.V. combines the unique atmosphere of the historic Baroque ballroom with highlights of Dresden’s musical history.
The Förderverein Palais Großer Garten e.V. has been advocating for years for the resumption of the reconstruction of the historic ballroom.
As of this year, the association is under the patronage of the renowned conductor Christian Thielemann.
