Colleen
The compositions of Colleen, also known as multi-instrumentalist Cécile Schott, are as rich and varied as they are precise. Each of her albums is characterized by a predetermined, individual instrumentation and certain parameters - including works composed entirely with music boxes, pocket synthesizers or baroque stringed instruments.

Her forthcoming album Libres antes del final taps into hope and the desire to be freed from unnecessary suffering and harmful thoughts before the end of one's life cycle.

Schott composed and recorded Libres on the Moog Matriarch, focusing on pulse, driving, bubbling energy and constant movement. She then reamped the music at one of her favorite places in Barcelona, Casa Montjuic, to enhance the sense of movement. The reamping gives the album a literal physicality: carefully placed microphones, including the famous Neumann KU100 binaural head, capture both the sound of the sound system and the acoustics of the room.

Midori Hirano
Midori Hirano is a Berlin-based Japanese musician, composer and sound artist. Based on her classical piano training and enhanced by electronics and field recordings, she creates immersive soundscapes in which acoustic intimacy meets experimental abstraction.

Her solo albums on labels such as Sonic Pieces, Daisart and Dauw have established her distinctive voice, while her pseudonym MimiCof explores more rhythmic and experimental territories. Over time, these approaches have coalesced into a unified artistic language under her own name. She has performed across Europe and collaborated with artists such as Hprizm (Anti Pop Consortium), Ilpo Väisänen (Pan Sonic), CoH, Atsuko Hatano, Brueder Selke and the women's collective Monika Werkstatt led by Gudrun Gut.

Her new solo album will be released on February 20, 2026 on Thrill Jockey.
