New York drummer and percussionist Lesley Mok presents xier's 2023 debut album "The Living Collection" at Cologne Jazzweek, documenting Mok's ongoing explorations with composition and improvisation, which xier recorded with a ten-piece chamber ensemble. The album received a nomination for the "German Jazz Award" 2024 as "International Debut Album of the Year". Mok was a resident artist at Roulette Intermedium in 2022. Xie's works have been commissioned and performed by the International Contemporary Ensemble and the JACK Quartet.
