Comedian Harmonists in Concert
In the organizer's words:
The "Comedian Harmonists in Concert" provide exuberant hilarity, wonderful comedy and bring the songs of the world's first boy band to life. The six performers, who (almost) look like the singers of yore, sing and dance their way through the history of the Comedian Harmonists with great charm, and thus into the hearts of the audience. Götz van Ooyen's integrated moderation provides an amusing look "behind the scenes" at the lives of the six original singers, who became a legendary vocal ensemble in the Golden 20s, but were banned by the Reich Chamber of Music in 1935 because of Jewish members. Highlights of the "Comedian Harmonists in Concert" show include lively dance interludes and legendary classics such as "Wochenend und Sonnenschein", "Mein kleiner grüner Kaktus" and "In der Bar zum Krokodil". The revue has plenty of comedy, even more harmony - and above all: soul!
