"Coming of ALS" - a declaration of love for life

"Coming of ALS" tells the story of Christoph's life with subtle irony; actually a normal life. But time and again he finds himself confronted with an incurable disease. As the son of a sufferer, then as a neurologist and finally as a sufferer himself, Christoph encounters amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). His many perspectives lead Christoph to a special understanding of life, illness and death.

The author Anne Becker was married to Christoph for almost two decades and has turned his insights into a book.

The reading, with musical accompaniment by Veronika Beimsche on the piano, lasts about an hour. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to exchange ideas.
