At the end of the opening night in the Grüner Salon, we invite you to the pop-up performance and Festiwalla opening party, which brings the history of bodies in protest to life. The struggles of the Jewish and Black working class have always been characterized by music and dance as a form of resistant coming together. From the Black-Jewish jazz era that inspired the swing youths resisting the Nazis, to today's underground dances born out of the struggle for survival.
Under the title "Everynight Life" - inspired by the name of dance scholars Celeste Delgado and the late critical theorist José Esteban Muñoz - the Grüner Salon is transformed into a dance floor where we dance through the decades of militant and revolutionary movements. The beats remind us of the world that is possible when we (move) together.
