Meme workshop with Cem A. (from the Insta account freeze_magazine), Harley Aussoleil and Frances Breden
as part of the Zwischenraum exhibition "Coding Culture. Emojis, Memes, Museum".
This workshop explores the potential of memes for the critique of art and its institutions. The workshop leaders will begin with an introduction to the tools for creating memes and present some favorite memes. The meme will then be explored as a tool of critique and placed in the context of different positions such as race, class, sexuality. Afterwards, memes will be created together in discussion.

The workshop will be held in English at Zwischenraum.
