On 11.1.26 we are organizing the first Connect Queer Cinema in Hamburg with Connect Queer. More queer representation is needed in Hamburg's cinemas, which is why we are showing a true classic.

We are showing the Oscar-winning drama about a forbidden love in the prudish 1950s in New York. After a chance encounter in a department store, an intense but socially condemned relationship develops between the wealthy Carol and the shy sales clerk Therese. A movie about the courage to love, the challenges of convention and the beauty of silent glances.

To ensure that our cinema is not just a movie, but also a meeting place, the doors of the cinema will remain open for an hour after the film for you to exchange ideas and connect.
