CONTEMPORARY BERLIN 2026

which will take place in Berlin atGalerie Heinz GalinskifromJune 27 to July 3, 2026.

The exhibition presents a carefully curated selection ofinternational artistsfrom various countries, whose work spans a wide range of artistic media: from painting to sculpture, photography to digital art, as well as installations and artistic jewelry.The curatorial project was conceived to foster a coherent and dynamic dialogue among the different artworks, where each artistic language interacts with the others within a fluid visual narrative. The aim is to offer visitors a comprehensive and critical overview of current trends in the contemporary art scene, highlighting art’s ability to interpret the complexity of the present through new perspectives and aesthetic sensibilities.

Galerie Heinz Galinskiis a prestigious exhibition venue located in the heart of Berlin. Characterized by its minimalist and functional design, the gallery provides a bright and versatile exhibition space, ideal for presenting contemporary artworks in a high-profile international context. The venue perfectly embodies the concept of the contemporary “White Cube.”Located inMitte, in theGesundbrunnendistrict, it stands at the vibrant center of Berlin’s artistic scene, surrounded by one of the world’s most dynamic cultural environments. This prime location allows the exhibition to become part of one of the German capital’s most influential creative districts, fostering dialogue with an international and cosmopolitan audience.

The event also includes a dedicatedVideo Artsection featuring the participation of: AIDA MURATORI, CELSO PREI, DRAGAN MARKOVIĆ MARKUS, DARREN ENGLAND, LETTERIO SCOPELLITI, NAHARRO, MASSIMILIANO LIGRANI, RIKXECOM.

In addition to the digital works created specifically by these artists, the video screenings will complement the narrative of the physical exhibition. Many artists exhibiting works in the gallery will also be featured in the video program, offering a complementary and dynamic perspective on their artistic research while exploring the boundary between materiality and digital imagery.

Opening Reception:

Saturday, June 27, 2026 – 6:00 PM

The opening reception will provide an opportunity for artists, visitors, collectors, and art professionals to meet and connect, accompanied by a welcoming cocktail in an atmosphere designed to encourage dialogue and cultural exchange.

During the evening, theOfficial Award Ceremonywill take place: all participating artists will receive theCertificate of Artistic Excellenceand the “Contemporary Artist of Berlin 2026” Trophy, in recognition of the merit and quality of the artistic research presented in this international exhibition.
