DANCE & ACROBATICS with Hanna - ages 12+

In this course we work with the basic technique of modern dance, break up the forms and expand our repertoire with acrobatic elements on the floor. In my classes I combine flowing qualities with accentuated, powerful movements. In the first part of the lesson, we work on strength and technique while standing, then we move to the floor and learn to carry our bodies on our hands. I place a lot of emphasis on working individually and teaching the students to understand how their own body works. At the end of the class there will always be a small choreography in which we apply what we have learned in the class.
