On October 17, 2026, AmpUp! Talent Management presents the first edition of CONVERGENCE at the Stummsche Reithalle in Neunkirchen—supported by official partners POWERMETAL.de and ULRICH MEDIEN.

Mixed Metal Arts collide with massive waves of thrash and death metal, as well as progressive darkness. What begins as three distinct musical worlds merges into an evening filled with brutal riffs, atmospheric depth, and pure live energy.

No cookie-cutter stuff. No half-measures. Just handmade metal and three bands that are on fire on stage.

The lineup:

DESIDERA (Mixed Metal Arts): Brutal. Atmospheric. Uncompromising. Since late 2022, DESIDERA from the Palatinate region have been breaking down traditional genre boundaries. Bone-crushing drum cascades collide with shredding riffs, deep, penetrating vocals, and an intensity that carves its own path between Gojira, Orbit Culture, Mastodon, Slipknot, and Avatar. With their “Mixed Metal Arts” style, every performance becomes a musical MMA battle. Their debut album “UTOPIA” set the tone—now DESIDERA are bringing their thirst for sonic perfection and maximum live energy to Neunkirchen.

TONS OF WATER (Thrash / Death Metal): The name says it all. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow, flowing one moment and then heavy and unpredictable the next: TONS OF WATER unleash massive waves of thrash and death metal upon the audience. Pounding, rousing riffs combine the raw power of Kreator and Sepultura with the modern force of Gojira. What began during the lockdown as a digital project by experienced musicians from various Saarland metal bands has long since grown into a solid five-piece unit. TONS OF WATER don’t skirt around obstacles—they sweep them away.

CONCENTRIC (Modern Progressive Metal): Traditional core. Progressive breadth. Brutal intensity. Since 2019, the Saarland-based metal quartet CONCENTRIC has been creating a soundscape where razor-sharp riffs meet atmospheric doom passages and old-school metal fuses with modern, progressive groove. At the center is frontwoman Verena, whose powerful and versatile voice breathes life into the band’s dark stories. Technical precision, a deep bass foundation, and a melancholic, almost cinematic atmosphere make CONCENTRIC the architects of their own worlds. Their EP “Concentric,” released in 2023, demonstrates just how intensely these worlds come across on record—and live, they completely draw the audience in.
