Cool down – Spaziergang auf kühlen Wegen durch Eimsbüttel

On the Heat Action Day on June 11, the health department and the climate team of the Eimsbüttel district office are inviting people to take a free walk through the neighborhood. The question is: How can we keep our neighborhood livable on hot days? We will show you concrete approaches for heat protection and prevention right on your doorstep. Together we will discover cool places, refill stations and climate-adapted spaces. Registration is required. Simply send an e-mail to klima@eimsbuettel.hamburg.de.

1. Starting point at the Apostelkirche (Bei der Apostelkirche 2, 20257 Hamburg)
   Introduction to the topic of heat protection in urban areas.
2. Health and environment meeting point at Lappenbergsallee 32
   Information on health-related heat protection.
3. Parnass Square
   An example of climate-adapted redesign in public spaces.
4. Stephanus Garden
   The community urban gardening project introduces itself.
5. Lenzsiedlung
   Information on heat protection measures in the neighborhood.
6. Café Lenz
   Joint conclusion of the walk with catering and drinks.
