On the fourth anniversary of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, the Auslandsgesellschaft Dortmund invites you to a special multimedia reading. Spiegel bestselling author Stephan Orth reports on his eight-week journey through Ukraine - in the middle of the war.

Orth traveled to Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv and the Carpathian Mountains, where he stayed with locals and collected their stories. He has a special connection to the country through his Ukrainian girlfriend Julija. In his reading, he lets the people have their say: their hopes, their courage and their extraordinary will to live.

A moving evening between reportage and personal experience - complemented by photos and videos from Ukraine.
