Featuring 𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗔𝗟, 𝗨𝗥, and 𝗦𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗦𝗖, three distinct approaches to heavy music will come together this evening. Sludge/post-metal, doom, and post-black metal aren’t worlds apart here, but rather represent three distinct approaches to intensity, heaviness, and atmosphere.

𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗔𝗟 was founded in 2014 by former Omega Massif guitarist Michael Melchers and is one of the most distinctive German bands in the atmospheric sludge/post-metal genre. Their debut EP was followed by the albums “Dark Towers / Bright Lights” and “Alternate Endings,” both released via Moment Of Collapse Records. The band features massive guitars, long builds of tension, and a clearly recognizable sound that blends sludge, post-metal, and a dark atmosphere. Their third studio album is set to be released in the fall of 2025, ten years after their first EP.

𝗨𝗥 from Leipzig play doom/post-metal with heavy riffs, slow structures, and psychedelic elements. The band has local roots but fits stylistically into the lineup in a very unique way: less as a traditional opening act, more as a second layer of heaviness throughout the evening.

𝗦𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗦𝗖 hail from Barcelona and play anti-fascist post-black metal. The band was founded in 2023 and blends black metal, post-rock influences, acoustic passages, and Catalan lyrics. Their debut album, “El Batec dels Maquis,” explores themes of memory, resistance, and anti-Franco history, and is set for release in 2026.
