Creative Outlaws is making a statement with the first concert in the new series.

The Multicolored Shades were among the spearheads of German neo-psychedelic rock in the 1980s. Their dusty, powerful garage sound did not stop at national borders and even attracted attention in the UK. No revival hype, but substance.

Over 40 years later, their songs are still present: in underground clubs and on the playlists of various radio stations.

Christian Müller has been the new voice on the microphone since 2021. As a fan of the early Shades and a convincing frontman, he continues to lead the band consistently - not as a nostalgia project, but as a lively, loud now.
Also on board: three original members of the Shades: Detlev Bizer (organ), Michael Döring (bass) and Heinz Werner Maleike (guitar).

Expect classics from the band's history as well as new songs that show that this sound has lost none of its relevance.

Fun fact: An important part of the band's history once began in a rehearsal room at the König Ludwig colliery in Recklinghausen
