About the workshop:

Whether writing, drawing, designing or in everyday office life: we need creativity to come up with new ideas. And we are by nature beings who want to create!
In this workshop, you will learn a method that can help you to strengthen your access to your creativity and get back into a flow state in which new ideas emerge. Lena will guide you through the three phases of her hourglass method, which consist of different writing exercises, and explain the background to them. You will use pen, paper and your words as tools, but you don't have to be a poet to enjoy and benefit from the workshop! The group setting as a safe space also allows you to exchange ideas with others.

The method can also be used on your own at home after the workshop, whenever you need a creative jump start.

The workshop takes place in the C+ Bakery, a queer-friendly space.

About Lena:

Lena is a writer and a creative who expresses herself through words and her voice. After spending the longest time of her life trying to fit in and fit into a frame, she rediscovered her innate passion for writing. It all started with a diary; she is now finishing her second book and working on a series script with a co-author. Lena loves stepping out of her comfort zone and trying new things. In addition to stories and essays, she writes and performs rap lyrics and has recently started working as a freelance writer.

She also has certified training in dramaturgy/storytelling and editing. In her Hourglass Method, Lena combines knowledge from her education and interest in creative processes in the brain with ideas based on her own experience as an artist. Her goal is to help and inspire people to radically be themselves and fully utilize their creativity.
