James Sunderland (Jeremy Irvine) is stunned when he opens the letter. The mysterious envelope contains news about the whereabouts of his wife Mary (Hannah Emily Anderson). And she should actually be dead - at least that's James' previous conviction. The mysterious message lures him to Silent Hill, but instead of certainty, a dark limbo awaits him there, in which a wide variety of thoughts and creatures seek his life. How is he supposed to think clearly here, let alone find his wife Mary again - if she is indeed still alive...
