With "Slanted" we present you a movie that is described in the trailer as a mixture of "The Substance" and "Mean Girls". If you read through what's happening in the movie, it's easy to imagine. You can see for yourself at the Creepy Crypt on May 23.

For Joan Huang (Shirley Chen), the title of prom queen stands for everything that counts: Recognition, beauty and belonging. In order to realize this dream, the high school student decides to undergo an experimental ethnic transformation - with the aim of having a better chance as a white candidate. What begins as an apparent path to acceptance soon develops into a stressful experience that pushes her body and identity to their limits.
