We start February with a legendary horror classic. Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining" is one of the most famous horror films of all time. Stephen King may not be the biggest fan of this adaptation, but the movie has many other fans. Because you can see the movie in the cinema from time to time, we thought we'd show you the longer US cinema version. So don't miss this chance on February 7th in the Creepy Crypt.

Former teacher and writer Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) takes on the job of caretaker at a mythical mountain hotel in Colorado. During the winter months, Jack is supposed to keep an eye on the isolated building. The family man sees this as the perfect opportunity to finish his novel in peace. His wife Wendy (Shelley Duvall) is also looking forward to their time in the secluded hotel. Only their six-year-old son Danny (Danny Llloyd) has his doubts about the whole thing. It doesn't take long for the dark premonitions and bloody visions that the boy first encounters shortly after moving in to become reality: Father Jack begins to lose his mind more and more. Armed with an axe, the maniac begins to hunt down his family.
