This final concert of the Crossdorf Festival 2026 is not to be missed, as it is a very interesting encounter between Persian (pop) music and Spanish flamenco. Both are very percussive types of music, and the two bands will first present their music separately and then bring something together on stage at the end.

The Hamburg duo Selva Negra, which has existed since 2008, has made a name for itself far beyond northern Germany in recent years. The interplay of guitar (Björn Vollmer) and percussion (Steffen Hanschmann) captivates with a unique mixture of flamenco and Latin, jazz and classical music; flamboyant, atmospheric and full of joy in playing - an invitation to listen.

The Pezhvak Ensemble consists of the Persian musicians Hesam (vocals) and Sepehr on percussion and the German musicians Steffi on violin and Martin on double bass, and they have dedicated themselves to Persian folk-pop music. After a worthy start to the festival with crossover music by Hepta Polka, this is a closing concert in the spirit of Crossdorf.
