CSD - Die Vielfalt unserer Straßen

Noch niemand hat sich das Event gemerkt.

In the organizer's words:

The project “CSD—Diversity on Our Streets” showcases Christopher Street Day in Lübbecke, Detmold, and Bielefeld. The people and flags clearly reflect the diversity, openness, and vibrancy of the event. The images for the exhibitions were submitted by several people in response to a call for submissions. In an open workshop, a group from the community selected the images through a collaborative discussion.

The result was three unique exhibitions featuring images that reflect the character of each location.

Together, they celebrate the visibility of CSD even outside major cities and its importance for a democratic society.

Be Different

The Be Different group was founded in September 2022 as a private initiative by queer people for queer people. Be Different’s goal is to provide a support network for LGBTIQ+ people, their families, and friends in the Minden-Lübbecke and OWL regions. The group’s regular meetings, activities, and events are intended to be an integral part of the community in Minden-Lübbecke and to contribute to the exchange, support, and visibility of LGBTIQ+ people.

CSD Bielefeld

CSD Bielefeld is organized by the nonprofit association BIE Queer e.V. We have made it our mission to raise awareness of queer lifestyles. Tolerance, acceptance, and respect are our cornerstones for strengthening the diverse lifestyles in Bielefeld and the surrounding area. With the help of volunteers and political engagement, we organize the Bielefeld CSD (Christopher Street Day). We advocate for human rights, stand against racism, and support the diversity of sexual orientations.

CSD Lippe

CSD Lippe has been taking place in Detmold since 2023 with a parade and a street festival. It’s colorful and lively. Every year, there’s a stage program featuring music and drag performances. CSD is an event celebrating love, community, openness, and togetherness.
