As always, the CSD demo leads into the big street party on Augustusplatz. Here you can find out about queer offers, talk to those responsible and make new contacts - or simply enjoy the end of the demo with your friends in queer euphoria.
Associations, initiatives, parties and institutions from Leipzig and the surrounding area will be presenting themselves at numerous stands. The whole event will be rounded off by a varied program of music, culture and speeches on the stage in front of the opera. You can get the energy you need to dance, party and chat at the food stalls.
A special highlight this year will once again be the final of the Icon of CSD Leipzig Drag Contest, which you can watch live on site and vote for your favorite! Lili Alexander & Oliver Viehweg will also host the stage program at the CSD street festival.
You can also follow the stage program live on YouTube.
CSD Leipzig is dependent on donations. If you would like to support us, you can do so at our CSD Leipzig stand. Thank you very much!
LIN brings a magical combination of emotion and melody to the stage with her unique voice and authentic songwriting. The singer-songwriter, who grew up in Mainz, is a proud supporter with a captivating folk-pop sound that captures hearts. Her songs are about personal stories, the pursuit of freedom and the power of community. LIN has already
played at numerous Pride events and LGBTQ festivals in Europe and uses her music to advocate for more visibility, equality and hope.
SIR MANTIS brings political rap back to the stage - loud, angry and uncompromisingly queer. The Leipzig-based producer and freestyler sees himself as the "T" in FLINTA*, but doesn't want to be reduced to being trans. He speaks openly about his experiences, advocates feminism and takes a clear stance against homophobia and trans-hostility. With his debut album 180 Grad, he settles accounts: with a sexist rap scene, with right-wing agitation, with a society full of pigeonholes. On twelve tracks, Sir Mantis dismantles encrusted ideals - and dances on the ruins of a queer rebellion.
LAINY brings warmth, soul and attitude to the stage with her voice. Born in Chile and raised in Switzerland, the singer-songwriter is part of the LGBTQ community. She has been performing on stage since 2011 - starting with dance and now with soulful RnB that gets under your skin. In her songs, she talks about love, identity and self-acceptance. Lainy has already performed at several Swiss CSDs such as Zurich Pride and Pride Central Switzerland - and her music ensures visibility, representation and a large portion of empowerment.
It is possible for people with disabilities to follow the action on stage at the street festival from a platform with a wheelchair ramp . Assistants will provide support in using the platform if required. German sign language interpretation is planned for the stage program. There will also be barrier-free toilets on each side of Augustusplatz.
