In the organizer's words:
CUERO Tango, founded in Buenos Aires in 2022, sees itself as the voice of a movement that understands tango not as a museum exhibit, but as a living response to the complexity of our present. In the tradition of "21st century tango", the quartet deliberately refrains from merely reproducing historical works. Instead, their focus is on creating their own compositions - an artistic project that aims to capture the identity of a city in which contrasting forms and contradictory sounds directly clash.
