Curator´s Tour: Image Ecology

In the Curator's Tour, Boaz Levin guides us through the circular structure of the group exhibition Image Ecology, which is divided into the four chapters Energy, Material, Work, and Waste, based on the metabolic cycle.
The twelve works on display demonstrate novel artistic approaches that address the causes and contexts of the climate crisis while reflecting on the conditions of image production. Levin provides insight into the creation of individual works, the historical as well as contemporary entanglement of photography and the climate crisis, but also perspectives of a forward-looking, ecological image practice.
