Free workshops for gaming fans & creatives aged 12 and over

Two months of tinkering and coding in the "Cyberflute" workshop are over - now it's time to get serious. Our prototype is entering the test phase! Let's try out the game together. Do you understand the rules? How can you win? And is the game any fun at all? You are the very first to try out this game! We invite you to the LAB and collect your feedback.

This is what happened in the workshops beforehand:

"This be your game!" is what Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute" says. That's exactly what we're taking up and developing our own computer and board game. With the support of game developer Jan, we immerse ourselves in a world between opera and games. We invent characters, write stories, try our hand at 3D printing, transform everyday objects into digital stage sets using our smartphones and think about how the game world could sound. In Unity, we also learn how to translate all these ideas into a functioning game environment. In the end, we put everything together: We move our 3D-printed figures on a board and at the same time the digital world changes on the screen. Whether this results in an exciting adventure or just wild chaos is up to us.
