Desert fuzz trio from Dortmund meets psychedelic stoners from Tel Aviv - two awesome live bands!

Daily Thompson play in their own cosmos of grunge, psychedelic rock and blues. The resulting mixture is reminiscent of stoner or space rock, but always remains the Dortmund trio's very own sound concoction. Barely back from their tour with Atomic Bitchwax, they have just released longplayer no. 6.

"Chuparosa" brings out all of the band's strengths and takes the next step. Two-part vocals, great melodies, gigantic walls of guitars. Alternative rock, grunge, spacerock, stoner rock - Daily Thompson move between the styles and perfect their own sound and style. While the previous albums varied between heaviness, space and deep relaxation, alternative rock, grunge and psychedelic blues have increasingly crept into the band's song material of late. Pixies, Dinosaur jr or Sonic Youth are crushed into 5 or 6 minute tracks and run through the "Big Muff Super Fuzz". A perfectly chilled soundtrack for isolation, quarantine and social emptiness, a head-nodding audio cruise through empty city streets. The tracks on the new album "Chuparosa" provide plenty of cross-references to a city called Seattle, which is exactly where the album was recorded. New material has been released at regular intervals since 2014, but Daily Thompson are first and foremost a live band. Countless European tours, festivals and support shows have made them a permanent fixture in their scene. And when they are not active as a band, they are touring the clubs as merchandisers or organizing concerts themselves.

The special guest is a very special band from Israel: The Great Machine.

The brothers Aviran and Omer Haviv and their friend and drummer Michael Izaky have been established in the scene for a long time and have a lot behind them. An outstanding live band that has played support shows for Ozzy Osbourne, Fu Manchu and Patti Smith, a UK and European tour with All Them Witches, numerous festivals and hundreds of their own shows. The love for the rock circus seems unbroken. The trio is still full of desire for the next club show - and you can hear it. The proportion of endless jam sessions and instrumental passages has been reduced in favor of clearly arranged and powerful rock songs. The production of their latest album "Funrider" is powerful, transparent and yet with enough dirt in its profile. The work impresses with its catchy songs between high-speed stoner, punk, hardcore, sludgy psychedelic, heavy rock and 90s grunge rock.

All in all, a package that can be heard and seen and will certainly show its full potential live!
