DÄMMERLAND - LIVE 2026

The wait is finally over for fans of the fantasy project DÄMMERLAND: The sensational success at the interface between fantasy history and epic music is coming to Germany for six concerts in 2026 with a live band, surprise guests and breathtaking visual and sonic worlds!

Last year, masterminds Malte Hoyer from Versengold and Hannes Braun from Kissin' Dynamite achieved a cross-genre sensational success: their project DÄMMERLAND reached #2 in the German album charts from a standing start and stayed in the hit list for several weeks. But that's not all: Dämmerland also marked the biggest national success of a newcomer with record label giant Universal Music in 2024.

So with this success and the overwhelming feedback behind them on the one hand and the ever louder calls from fans for live shows on the other, this is reason enough to bring Dämmerland to the stage.

In a unique mixture of story, reading and music, performed by the original performers Malte Hoyer, Hannes Braun and Annie Hurdy Gurdy, together with a large band ensemble, narrator luminary Stephan Benson and surprise star guests from the world of Dämmerland.

What began as a small idea by the two creators Hoyer and Braun in 2024 quickly blossomed into a multimedia fantasy epic of radio play, music and book. And the live shows are set to become just as three-dimensional.

Now that the eagerly awaited sequel Dämmerland 2 is in the stores, Annie Hurdy Gurdy, Malte Hoyer and Hannes Braun will bring Dämmerland to life on stage in the fall of 2026 and promise a show that will delight young and old alike.

Braun comments: 'I'm really looking forward to finally bringing this project close to my heart to the stage with a concept that couldn't be more fitting for the most beautiful theater halls in the republic.

Hoyer adds: "There will be a new storyline that has never before been told in any part of Dämmerland and is therefore absolutely new for every Dämmerland fan. Of course, we will be performing the greatest hits together with one or two star guests.

About the Dämmerland project:

In 2024, Hoyer wrote a fantastic story about a boy named Fiete who falls through a portal into Twilight Land and finds himself in a world full of mythical creatures, strange places and daring adventures. Gradually, however, the boy realizes that Twilight Land is more than just a magical place, as his childhood memories are closely linked to the events and characters in Twilight Land.

Malte Hoyer, who has a degree in social education, uses metaphors to address everyday problems in the story, but never raises his index finger or even becomes preachy. Sometimes funny, sometimes poignant, but always child-friendly, he deals with topics that affect us all and our coexistence as human beings.

Braun, on the other hand, composed 16 songs for his debut work and, using the universal language of music, managed to depict the complexity of the twilight land in a wide variety of genres and set these emotions to music - and he succeeded in doing what no one had ever done before: several top-class artists from a wide variety of musical worlds were brought together for the project, who not only interpreted the songs, but also lent their voices to the 7-hour radio play, which Hannes Braun set to music.
