Dance of Joy combines traditional klezmer music with its musical roots from Eastern Europe, the Balkans and the Orient with music from Bach to Bernstein and takes thelisteneron a journey through countries and times. The Aachen-based quartet interweaves melodies and rhythms from different cultures and musical traditions, helping to keep the music of Eastern European Jewry alive and relevant and connecting people across physical and cultural borders.
