Dance Off

A playful battle at the highest level

When different dance worlds collide, it creates excitement, energy, and sometimes a lighthearted showdown. “Dance Off” brings professional dancers from various styles together on one stage: classical ballet meets urban dance forms such as hip-hop, breakdancing, and house. “Dance Off” takes place right in the center of the stage at Theater Duisburg. The audience surrounds the dance arena, is right up close, becomes part of the action, cheers, reacts, applauds, and carries the energy of the moment with them. This isn’t about right or wrong, points, or rules—it’s about presence, skill, and the moment.
