London, 1722: In a gripping account, Daniel Defoe describes how an entire city goes into isolation. The authorities deny the danger, then lock the gates. Supply collapses. Panic and selfishness meet humanity and the will to survive. Plague houses, looting, quiet streets - and decisions that cost lives. Sounds frighteningly topical?

In a one-hour mixed-media production, visual artist and director Kristóf Szabó unfolds an intense scenario about pandemics - inspired by Defoe's chronicle, condensed with contemporary images, sounds and thoughts. An experience at the interface of visual arts and theater that looks deep into the human soul.
