Canadian band Danko Jones are back and are coming to Germany for seven dates as part of their Good Times Tour. They are getting support and want to heat things up with Los Pepes as special guests.

Founded in Toronto in 1996, the three-piece band has dedicated itself to the noble art of riffs, melodies and life-affirming rock anthems. Over the past 25 years, Danko Jones have built a huge international fan base and are one of the most celebrated live bands - loved by mainstream radio rock fans to die-hard metalheads. With ten acclaimed studio albums and an unrivaled repertoire of infectious songs, they have cemented their place in the rock scene. Albums like "Born A Lion" (2002) and "Below The Belt" (2010) showcase their versatility and unwavering ability to hit the spot of rock.
Over the last decade, Danko Jones have stepped up a gear - especially since frontman Danko and bassist JC joined forces with drummer Rich Knox. Their latest albums, including "Fire Music", "Wild Cat" and "A Rock Supreme", have led to intense touring and an uncompromising commitment. In 2023, they released their eleventh album, "Electric Sounds" - proving that even a global pandemic couldn't stop Danko Jones. The album has the sound and feel of an instant classic. From the brash confidence of opening track 'Guess Who's Back' to the muscular new-wave gang of 'Good Time' and the title track, which promises to "smash a thousand guitars tonight", the album shows the band on top form. Although the original idea was to create all the songs in the style of the sluggish, medium tempo and heavy "Cadillac", the album developed in a more diverse direction during the writing process. But the lyrics remain true to their typical subject matter: rocking, the desire to rock, enjoying life while rocking and sometimes singing about a woman.
