ACT on tour: daoud
In the organizer's words:
Daoud is considered the enfant terrible of jazz: an artist who breaks the rules and, in doing so, captivates new listeners just as much as jazz connoisseurs. His music oscillates between playfulness and seriousness, chaos and tenderness, irony and great openness. With his new album *ok* (ACT, 2025), the French-Moroccan trumpeter and composer offers a very personal expression of what he stands for.
In November, daoud will perform at Mojo with his band—as part of a larger European tour. Live, the band blends quiet, lyrical moments with high energy and a joy of playing. The concerts are at times intimate and vulnerable, at times wild and euphoric—and always full of surprises.
Following acclaimed performances at venues including Ronnie Scott’s, North Sea Jazz, Elbjazz, and Montreux, this concert at Mojo offers the opportunity to experience daoud in one of Hamburg’s most exciting live music settings.
