The golden twenties. Charleston, jazz, revue and silent movies. On the other side: the world economic crisis, the emergence of the NSDAP and attempted coups. In the midst of this time, she is on her way to becoming an international film star: Renate Müller. She even made films with screen greats such as Heinz Rühmann - until her great love for a Jew became her undoing. Her dramatic death shocks the world, but the then famous actress and chanson singer is soon forgotten ...

A glittering, dramatic and thrillingly staged dark room that breathes the air of the 1920s tells the story of a true event - interwoven with music by Gustav Mahler, Paul Hindemith and chansons of the time.

The audience listens to the orchestra and well-known dubbing actors in almost complete darkness. An exceptional auditory situation in which the listener can fully immerse themselves.
