From a Dream to a New Hotspot: Leipzig Celebrates Its First Harbor Festival! ⚓

Who would have thought that a maritime harbor atmosphere could be so tangible right in the heart of Leipzig? The new city harbor has become a place for people to come together —and on July 18 & 19, we’ll really bring it to life with the first official Harbor Festival.

From Saturday through Sunday (11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.), a hand-picked program combining culinary delights, top-tier sports, culture, and excitement awaits you.

While the street food festival and regional live acts set the stage for the perfect summer weekend, we’ll really make a splash on Saturday evening with the dragon boat race and Flyboard artist Flying Gordon. The absolute emotional highlight awaits on Sunday evening: experiencing the big soccer final together with hundreds of fans on an XXL screen right on the waterfront.

Leipzig’s City Harbor is thus setting the standard for our city’s modern, vibrant leisure culture— free admission and open to all generations.
