THE ALPHORN CALLS ACROSS THE LAKE

The MDR horn and alphorn player Hans-Dieter Frenzel and the organist Kai Nestler have been working together as a duo and with the Leipzig Alphornists for several years. The music composed for the alphorn is limited in number. In addition to original pieces for alphorn and accompanying instrument (Gunsenheimer, Schüssele, Frenzel), you will therefore also hear arranged works by Bach, Albinoni, Marcello and others. Hans-Dieter Frenzel will not only play the alphorn. You can look forward to an entertaining hour of rarely heard music.
