Das dekoloniale Tandem 3: Miriam Gyamfi & Meryem Choukri

In the organizer's words:

Our guests on the third storytelling evening bring very different experiences and perspectives to the debate on decolonization. But what they have in common: They open up structures, seek friction, question knowledge hierarchies, find tools for change - and advise organizations and people on how to use these levers.

Miriam Gyamfi and Meryem Choukri navigate their way through obstacles and resistance - and discover unexpected paths to change. How do they deal with the power relations they encounter in institutions, projects and public spheres? What do they draw strength from?

In conversation with Dan Thy Nguyen and anyone interested, we will talk about their journey, their motivation and the meaning of power, who has it, how it surrounds us and how it can be used in a transformative way. Afterwards there will be soup and time to chat.

The event is being organized in cooperation with hamburg.global and Fair Trade Stadt Hamburg.
