The cunning snake Kaa, Tabaqui the jackal and last but not least Shir Khan, the most dangerous tiger in the jungle. Mowgli, a human child raised by wolves, doesn't have it easy. Fortunately, his best friend Baloo the Bear is there to help him. Mowgli, Baloo the bear and Shir Khan the tiger - the characters from Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book have enchanted an audience of millions since 1894 and have been among the best-known and most popular characters in children's and youth literature ever since.
