Snow crunches. Desire blazes. Bodies spiral out of control.
In 2026, we are ringing in Cinema Futuro together with the Stuttgart Film Winter - with an evening in which inner states explode entire landscapes.

On Monday, January 12, at 7:30 pm, we invite you to the first Cinema Futuro double feature. On the screen: two films, two female characters, two forms of radical transformation.

First we show THE EXPLODING GIRL (approx. 20 min.): The latest film by Caroline Poggi & Jonathan Vinel in which a young girl explodes everything around her two or three times a day. Delicate, brutal, disturbingly beautiful.

Then we watch THE WHITE RENTIER (1952, approx. 74 min.) together: a Finnish folk horror gem. Archaic, erotically charged, mysterious. Snowy landscapes, myths and a woman from whom something unstoppable bursts forth.

As always, we frame the evening with love. Lotteries will be held for vinyls. We'll say a few words about the films and then (if you want) we'll get talking over free drinks from Kessler Sekt, Schwaben Bräu and Elephant Bay.

Both films will be shown in the original with English subtitles. Come with us into the cold.
